About Kitson Consulting
At Kitson Consulting, we pride ourselves on combining technical expertise with a good understanding of our clients’ specific needs. We aim to provide advice and technology that is appropriate to the specific requirements of each project, rather than trying to force every problem into an inappropriate “standard” solution. We do our utmost to stay up to date on current technology so that we can advise you on a variety of options.
In addition to our existing experience, we have a genuine enthusiasm to understand and embrace new developments in science and IT. We view it as our job to make things work as smoothly as possible in the background so that you can focus on getting end results, instead of spending time grappling with complicated computer systems.
We favour open source systems in our design and implementation practices, as in our experience they usually provide the best solution to a problem, both from a cost and technical viewpoint. However, we still recommend closed source solutions if they meet the needs of a project better.
Our primary areas of scientific interest are bioinformatics and mathematical science, both qualitative and quantitative. Our staff have experience in both academia and industry, so you can rest assured that your project will be handled by someone who understands and is committed to producing high quality scientific work.
